Condition & notes
In Good condition. Staple bound, bindings tight. All seven with mild shelf wear, bumping and creasing to edges, and light scuffing, toning, spotting and soiling to covers; pages toned with occasional light spotting. August 1960 with spotting to front cover, bumping to corners, and foxing to first and last leaves. November 1960 with previous owner's name in ink at head of front cover, vertical crease to front cover, bumping to corners, and heavier toning and spotting to inside covers and first and last leaves. February 1963 with tearing to cover paper at spine staples and light pencil marks to front cover. May 1963 with coffee ring stains to front cover and bumping to corners. Original green International Oceanographic Foundation membership slips laid in to several issues. Otherwise unmarked. Popular oceanographic science at the opening of the deep-submergence era, edited by F. G. Walton Smith from the Marine Laboratory at the University of Miami, with contributions by C. P. Idyll, John E. Randall, Gilbert L. Voss, E. John Long and William M. Stephens.
