Condition & notes

In Very Good condition, no dust jacket as issued. Glossy laminated pictorial boards (a gilt shell and a striped fish on a plate on front, a plate and bottle vase on rear), mild shelf wear, light bumping to corners. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Twelve step-by-step porcelain painting projects from a Lake Constance teacher who began in 1978 at the Atelier Oechslin in Schaffhausen and now runs her own school at Stockach-Wahlwies, each with the working sketch, a materials list, and firing temperatures: a fish, a square plate with pink lily, stones and frog, pansies, a lily pond with dragonfly, a metallic-colour box, a winter star, sea-shell variations, a shell-form plate, wild roses, a three-sided plate with golden feathers, and the abstract Wheel of Time. Materials chapter covers lustres, metallic and iridescent colours, I-relief, chip-off powder, decor fabric, tracing film, and the clove, lavender, and orange oil mediums. Closes with a gallery of completed works: vases, picture tiles, porcelain jewelry, and salt-and-pepper animals after Niki de Saint Phalle. One of the Callwey Creativ Spezial porcelain painting series; a da Vinci brush advertisement fills the last page.
