In Good condition. Glossy pictorial covers, red and blue lettering on front cover. Prominent crease running diagonally from the lower fore-corner of front cover well into the image, the coating cracked white along its length, carrying through the first few leaves. Mild bumping and creasing to edges and corners, with mild shelf and edge wear. Rear cover clean. Binding tight, staple bound. Pages clean and unmarked. Complete course in reproduction porcelain dollmaking, built around three project dolls: Chrissy, the Kammer and Reinhardt 101 pair Peter and Marie, and Angel. Schaeffer takes the reader from mold selection and slip pouring through kiln firing, china painting, eye setting, body assembly and a mohair wig, closing on entering doll competitions. Painting schedules give the firing cones, paint colors and brushes for each doll. The method is Seeley's throughout, keyed to their molds, slips and French Bisque, which makes this a companion to the Seeley workbooks rather than a general manual.
