Description

Condition & notes

In Good condition. Red and black pictorial cover with light bumping to edges and corners; mild to moderate overall shelf wear; some soiling and toning. A few small marks at the head and foot of the fold. Interior pages mildly toned and soiled, otherwise unmarked. From the 1936 20th Century-Fox picture Sing, Baby, Sing, which starred Alice Faye with Adolphe Menjou, Gregory Ratoff, Ted Healy, Patsy Kelly, Michael Whalen, and the Ritz Brothers. An uncommon sheet: "Love Will Tell" was one of the film's lesser songs (the picture's hit was "You Turned the Tables on Me"), and WorldCat records only a single edition held by two libraries. Lyric by Jack Yellen, who also wrote "Happy Days Are Here Again"; music by Lew Pollack. Rear cover advertises the Shirley Temple Song Album.
