In Acceptable condition. Illustrated Art Deco cover, a couple in evening dress seated on a rock above a moonlit lake beneath stylized willows, in deep blue and orange; no illustrator credited. Outer cover has a 4 inch slit along the fold running up from the bottom edge. Previous owner's name in blue pencil in two places on the front cover, with a music store's rubber stamp. Several edge nicks and short tears (1 inch or less) with creasing. Interior pages lightly aged and soiled. Otherwise unmarked. Inside front cover carries a sample of "Don't Blame It All on Me," and the rear cover samples of "Mr. Radio Man" and "Don't Mind the Rain."Words by Dorothy Terriss, music by Vincent Rose. Dorothy Terriss was a pen name of Theodora Morse (1883-1953), the Tin Pan Alley lyricist who supplied the English words to "Three O'Clock in the Morning" and "Wonderful One" and who also wrote as Dolly Morse and D. A. Esrom. Vincent Rose, an Italian-born bandleader, composed "Linger Awhile" and later "Blueberry Hill."
