In Very Good condition with a Good dust jacket. Green illustrated cloth-covered boards with dark green lettering on spine; mild surface and shelf wear, with some toning and color loss along edges and spine; binding tight; pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket has several nicks and tears (one-half inch or less) and light creasing to edges; mild to moderate overall shelf wear with some color loss along edges and spine; toning and mild soiling to back cover. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. Forty-one poems by Maxine Kumin with seventeen pen-and-ink drawings by Barbara Swan, exploring the inner and outer life of rural New England, much of it set on Kumin's New Hampshire farm.
