In Very Good condition with an Acceptable dust jacket. Black cloth-covered boards, gilt lettering on spine, "Volume 1" lettered at spine; some color loss, mild overall shelf and edge wear. Binding tight. Interior bright, light toning to pages and edges, otherwise unmarked. Pictorial dust jacket reproduces a color photograph of a Brazilian indigenous ceramic figure; rear flap nearly detached, repaired on verso with clear plastic tape; front flap with a one-inch closed tear along the fore-edge fold and several smaller nicks and tears along edges; crease lines down center of front and rear panels; moderate overall soiling, spotting, and toning. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. Volume I of a comprehensive survey of the plastic arts in Brazil, conceived and directed by Rodrigo M. F. de Andrade under the auspices of the Instituicao Larragoiti (Professor Leonidio Ribeiro). Contributions by Frederico Barata, Gastao Cruls, Reinaldo dos Santos, J.
