A pictorial local history of Chicago-area home builder and developer Leonard W. Besinger, assembled largely from reproduced period newspaper articles documenting the houses and projects Besinger and Associates completed across the Chicago suburbs from the 1920s through the 1960s. Covers his prefabricated houses; residential developments in Clarendon Hills, Park Ridge, Arlington Heights, Oak Park and Waukegan; and the Meadowdale subdivision, shopping center, and International Raceway in Carpentersville.
