In Very Good condition. Inscribed (personalized) and signed by the author in black ink on the dedication page. Glossy illustrated covers show mild shelf wear with light bumping to the edges. Binding tight. Otherwise unmarked.A collection of photography and poetry. Pineda is French born and fluent in French, Spanish, and English; she spent her childhood in Europe and South America, and her poetry draws on that diverse background. Her original poems are written in Spanish and translated into English and French. Her artistic work has been presented internationally, and she has published four books of photographs and poems in various languages along with a book of children's stories in Spanish and English. A member of the poetry organization "Poesia" and a contributor to the cultural magazine "Revista Cultural Hispanoamericana," she has also hosted the radio program "Cara a Cara con la Cultura." She has taken part in numerous Latin and American volunteer organizations and received recognitions from the Peruvian Government, Peruvian universities, the States of California and Connecticut, the Hispanic community of New York, the City of Miami, and various philanthropic institutions. She served as President of the California Medical Association Alliance and twice as National President of the Association of Peruvian Institutions in the United States and Canada. Other titles by the author include "Visions of Peru" (2002), "Sun and Shadows" (2005), and "Doors and Windows" (2006).
