Bilingual (Greek and English) catalogue of the Jewish Museum of Greece exhibition held in Athens, January 23 to September 25, 2017, on the Romaniote Jewish community of Ioannina in Epirus. Researched and written by curator Christina Meri, it traces the community's history from antiquity through the Ottoman period to the Second World War, and presents its material culture: festive women's costumes with gold-thread embroidery, silver dedicatory plaques (Shaddayot) and liturgical objects, prayer shawls, printed books, and historic photographs, several drawn from private collections. Issued for the museum's fortieth anniversary.
