In Very Good condition. Glossy pictorial wraps with French flaps, light bumping increasing at edges and corners, mild overall shelf wear with some fading to spine; previous owner's small inventory sticker on lower back cover. Binding tight. Scuffed patch on front free endpaper where a label was removed, with a faint pencil inventory number in the lower corner; pages mildly toned, otherwise unmarked.Exhibition catalog for the British sculptor Stephen Cox (born Bristol, 1946), produced for his show at the Casa di Masaccio, San Giovanni Valdarno, opening 17 November 1984. Critical essay by Giovanni Carandente (Italian text with English translation by Paul Blanchard) and a preface by Stefano Beccastrini. The plates document Cox's stone sculptures and works on paper from 1977 to 1984, much of it carved from Italian stone (travertine, rosso di Verona, peperino, tufo) during his residence in the Valdarno, including work installed at the Tate Gallery.
