In Very Good condition, no dust jacket. Dark blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on front and spine. Mild shelf wear with some color loss along edges and mild scuffing to the front and rear panels. Binding tight. This 1987 Loyola University Press reissue reproduces the 1927 edition prepared for college use by Daniel M. O'Connell of St. Xavier College, Cincinnati, with a foreword by Brother Leo of St. Mary's College, Oakland (dated April 11, 1927) and O'Connell's editor's introduction. The reprint marked the 60th anniversary of the original printing and the 75th anniversary of Loyola University Press.
