Condition & notes

In very good condition, no dust jacket. Photo-printed boards with the title in white handwritten script across a crowd-surfing image; light bumping to the cover edges and mild shelf wear. Binding tight. A few interior pages show mild creasing that appears to originate from the binding stage rather than later handling. Otherwise unmarked.Photographer Ignacio Galvez documents punk, hardcore, hip-hop, and metal acts on stage, backstage, and on the road, shot across several years on multiple continents. Galvez is himself the guitarist of 562, the Chilean hardcore band formed in 2008, and the photographs come from inside the scene rather than from across the barricade. The preface is by Alfredo Lewin, the former MTV Latinoamerica VJ and co-founder of Rockaxis magazine, whose own interviews include Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Metallica, and Radiohead. Designed and produced in Santiago by joiaestudio; back cover bears the Levi's logo, the brand having supported the project. Galvez has also shot advertising campaigns for Adidas, Levi's, and Nike across South America.Lewin's preface is structured as four short essays: El Monstruo y la Luz; The Heat of the Moment; Cuadros de una Exposicion; Carpe Diem.
