Contains two complete short comics: a 1930s gangster-and-gun-moll noir titled "The Bee's Knees," and a zombie-apocalypse horror tale, together representing one entry from each side of the proposed CRIME and TERROR pairing. Unfortunately the full hardcover series was never published and no further volumes have been issued. Scott Morse is a Pixar story artist and the creator of Soulwind, Magic Pickle, and The Ancient Book of Sex and Science. The two had previously collaborated on the IDW Little Book of Horror: Frankenstein (2005) and would later release the one-shot Monster and Madman: The Secret History of Jack the Ripper and Frankenstein's Monster (IDW, 2014).
