Condition & notes

In Good condition. Illustrated wraps (stylized red and cream drawing of the Mikado and attendants in Japanese costume) with mild shelf wear, light soiling, and some bumping and creasing to the edges and corners of covers. Some nicking and tearing to the paper over the bottom of the spine. Binding tight. Pages lightly toned with a few scattered spots but otherwise clean and unmarked.Abridged and simplified piano and vocal score of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera "The Mikado, or, The Town of Titipu," arranged by W. Norman Grayson, M.A., and issued at a $2.00 price for school and amateur productions. Printed in a 7" x 10 1/4" format (not full sheet music size). The score interleaves sung text and spoken dialogue with stage directions (entrances, exits, and character action) throughout. Part of C. C.
