In Good condition. The front cover has a 1/2 in. tear along the fore edge. Light bumping to the edges of the covers and mild shelf wear; faint soiling to the back cover. The spine is mildly creased but the binding is tight. Interior pages are clean and unmarked.The standard urtext edition of the complete Beethoven piano sonatas in two volumes, edited by Carl Krebs with a preface translated by Paul Aron. Volume I contains the first 18 sonatas (Op. 2 through Op. 31), preceded by Krebs's editorial notes on Beethoven's notation practices, particularly his use of slurs, grace notes, and ornamentation.
