N.V. 't Lanthuys, Published 1968. Wraps, [12], 90 pp.; 26 cm; text in French; illustrated with 90 black-and-white plates of drawings and watercolors by Vincent van Gogh, with one color plate on front cover.

Condition & notes

In Acceptable condition. Paper covers with color reproduction of a Van Gogh watercolor on front cover (street scene). Light bumping and creasing to covers with some nicking to the top edge near the spine and fraying to corner tips; mild to moderate shelfwear with some color loss to edges and light soiling to back cover. Glued binding is fragile and cracked with pages beginning to separate, but all pages are present. Interior pages have mild toning but are otherwise unmarked. Exhibition catalog for "Vincent van Gogh: Dessins/Aquarelles" held at Le Musee des Beaux Arts, Liege, 3 September to 30 September 1968. Preface by Dr. M.A.M. Visser. Includes a chronology of Van Gogh's life and 90 plates reproducing drawings and watercolors from the collection of the Vincent van Gogh Foundation, Amsterdam, with de la Faille catalog numbers and dimensions for each work. Printed in the Netherlands by C. Haag Ltd., Zaandam.
