In Very Good condition. Glossy folded brochure printed on heavy coated paper, 5 panels to each side (10 panels total), each panel measuring 25 x 20 cm. One side opens to a Clive McCartney section, with an illustrated cover panel depicting his oil painting "The Turbine Hall, Tate Modern," figures moving through a dramatic, light-flooded interior. The reverse side is Peter Wileman PROI, ARSMA, FRASA, with an illustrated cover panel depicting a Devon harbor scene (the Salcombe Estuary, with moored sailboats and luminous reflected light). All panels are clean and bright; folds are crisp with no creases, tears, or soiling. The McCartney panels reproduce 19 oil paintings of architectural and urban subjects, including London scenes (the Turbine Hall, Tate Modern; St. Paul's Cathedral; the Great Court, British Museum; Borough Market; the Palace of Westminster), continental European hotel and street subjects (the Louvre, Paris; Beaulieu-sur-Mer; St. Paul de Vence; Hotel Belles Rives; Montmartre), American cityscapes (42nd Street toward the Chrysler Building, the Flatiron Building, New York), and Barbados landscapes. The Wileman panels reproduce 19 oil paintings of coastal and landscape subjects, including Devon and Cornwall harbors (Salcombe, Noss Mayo, Hope Cove, Staithes), winter river landscapes (the River Tove, Nene Valley), Northumberland coastal scenes (Bamburgh Castle), and continental European views (Lake Garda, Montmartre). W.H. Patterson Fine Art, at 19 Albemarle Street, Mayfair, was a leading London gallery for contemporary British painting.
