Chester Ltd. advertising newly published vocal and instrumental compositions by Eugene Bonner, E. J. Moeran, and Poldowski. The flyer promotes Bonner's Three Songs, Op. 8 on texts by Walt Whitman (Phantoms; A Clear Midnight; The Dismantled Ship), Flutes, Op. 10 on verses by Franc-Nohain, and Two Songs from the Chinese, Op. 11 translated by Arthur Waley with French version by Jacques Bonjean. The reverse side advertises E. J. Moeran's Sonata for Violin and Pianoforte and Poldowski's Berceuse de l'Enfant mourant for violin and piano. Includes a short biographical note on Bonner noting his birth in Washington, North Carolina in 1889 and his studies at the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore followed by work in London, Paris, and Rome. Promotional flyers such as this were commonly inserted into sheet music publications distributed by the publisher.
