In good condition. Original cream paper covers with color illustration on front; light bumping and creasing to edges and corners of covers and mild surface rubbing and soiling; binding sound. Interior pages have occasional light foxing to margins but are otherwise unmarked. Exhibition catalog published in conjunction with the retrospective exhibition of Loren D. Adams, Jr. (born 1945) is an American painter best known for his seascapes and marine imagery. Born in Linton, Indiana, he moved to California as a child and later lived and worked in Vancouver, British Columbia. Adams gained national and international recognition during the late 1960s and 1970s for expressive paintings of the sea that emphasize light, motion, and atmosphere, and his work has been exhibited widely in the United States and Canada.
