In very good condition in good slipcase. Tan wood-grained patterned boards with decorative device stamped in black on front cover; light bumping and scuffing to edges and corners and mild wear at spine ends. Binding tight. Interior pages clean and unmarked with bright color plates. The publisher slipcase, printed with photographic panels, shows edgewear, rubbing, surface scuffing, and corner wear consistent with age. A detailed photographic and descriptive survey of the domestic, ecclesiastical, and communal wooden architecture of northern Russia, including the regions of Transonega, the White Sea Coast, the rivers Svid and Onega, Vologda and the Lower Vychegda, the Northern Dvina and Pinega, and the Mezen River basin.
