In very good condition / very good dust jacket. Cream textured paper over boards have very light bumping and scuffing to edges of covers. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. Pictorial dust jacket shows only mild edge rubbing and faint surface wear. Now in an archival quality (removable) Brodart cover. With families crossing the sand dunes into Manhattan Beach women had a progressive attitude. They were determined to improve conditions structurally by joining forces. In 1909, the Neptunian Woman's Club was first organized. The women realized they could be an influence in the development of the new community. They were interested in education, the well being of their neighbors and their new environment.
