In very good condition. Printed in blue on cream paper, folded three times to form a self-mailing brochure. Light toning along folds, a small crease to one corner, otherwise clean and well-preserved. Promotional brochure issued by the Fort Buford 6th Infantry Regiment Association inviting visitors to tour Historic Fort Union and Fort Buford, North Dakota, approximately 25 miles southwest of Williston. Includes historical background on both forts, a "Confluence Calendar" outlining key regional events from 1805-1895, and a history of the 6th Infantry Regiment Association from its beginnings in 1962. Illustrated with period photographs (including Sitting Bull), a sketch of Fort Buford from 1868, and a regional map. Sponsored by the American State Bank of Williston, North Dakota ("The Bank that makes things happen"). A mid-20th century example of local historical tourism promotion tied to the preservation and interpretation of Fort Buford and Fort Union, both key sites at the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers and central to frontier and Indian War history.
