In very good condition with light bumping to edges and light overall scuffing. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. The show featured sculptural and mixed media works exploring themes of myth, magic, femininity, and transformation. Introductory essay by Scott Canty. Kolosvary-STupler's pieces merge surreal figuration with personal mythology and feminist interpretation. The catalog includes full-color reproductions of artworks, many depicting anthropomorphic mannequins and religious or folkloric symbolism. A brief biography at the end notes that Kolosvary-Stupler was born in Budapest, escaped Hungary in 1956, lived in Zurich, and emigrated to the U.S. in 1961. She earned an MFA from California State University, Long Beach, in 1980 and has exhibited in both national and international venues.
