In very good condition. Pictorial paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and light overall scuffing with a bit of the color scuffed off along edges. Binding tight (staple bound). Pages clean and unmarked. This monograph presents a deeply personal exploration by Tee Corinne of her experiences growing up in an alcoholic and abusive family. Through a series of mixed media drawings and accompanying narratives, Corinne delves into themes of trauma, memory, and healing. The work reflects her journey of confronting past abuses and finding solace and understanding through art. The publication is part of the Gallerie: Women Artists' Monographs series, which focuses on women's art and experiences. [From back cover] Tee Corinne is a visual artist and a writer whose photographs, drawings, stories, and essays have played a key role in the development of feminism and women's art. In earlier work Corinne has been concerned with reclaiming sexual power and developing erotic imagery. Her art books include Yantras of Womanlove and the renowned book of drawings, The Cunt Coloring Book, now in its fifth edition. Corinne is the author of Dreams of the Woman Who Loved Sex and Lovers. Her photographs and drawings have appeared in numerous books and magazines, profoundly influencing women's consciousness over the past two decades. In this monograph Corinne describes a new visual art project entitled Family, in which she recovers her memories of growing up in an alcoholic and abusive family. Through a series of drawings Corinne changes her understanding of the past, and comes to find and nurture the child within.
