In acceptable condition. Blue and white pictorial paper covers have a few small nicks and and tears along edges and spine and light bumping and creasing to edges and corners. Light overall scuffing aging and soiling to covers as well, with a bit of the color scuffed off along the spine. Binding tight. Pages lighlty aged but otherwise unmarked with occasional light spotting. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Black and white illustrations. The Journal of the West was founded in 1962 by historians Lorrin L. Morrison and Carol J. Morrison. Its purpose was to promote scholarship on the history, culture, and events of the American West. This was the last issue published under the direction and ownership of the Morrisons after the publication was purchased by a new corporate entity - Journal of the West, Inc.
