in very good condition/ no dust jacket. Pocket-sized (4.5 x 7.25") black cloth covered boards with gold lettering on front and spine. Light overall scuffing to covers. Binding tight. Previous owners name stamped in ink on bottom edge of each text block. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Philip M. Roskie was an antiquarian bookseller and author of The Bookman's Bible, a three-volume series published between 1956 and 1963 by the Roskie & Wallace Bookstore in Oakland, California. This series was intended as a coded guide for pricing antiquarian books, specifically focusing on books published between 1850 and 1949.
