Light bumping and creasing to edges and corners of covers and light overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Front cover is starting to separate from the rest of the booklet but is still attached. Staple bound. Pages lightly aged but otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. Includes 3 black and white illustrations. Details the life of John Xantus de Veysey (1825-1894), a Hungarian, who made extensive ornithological collections in the southwestern United States and his correspondence with other naturalists, especially Spencer Fullerton Baird and others at the Smithsonian Institution.
