In good condition. Green illustrated paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light overall scuffing, fading, aging and soiling. Original price stamped on bottom corner of front cover. Spine is lightly creased but binding is still solid. Pages are lightly aged but otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Black and white photos and illustrations throughout. Frank Brockman (1902 - 1985) was an American forester, educator, and author known for his work in the field of conservation and his contributions to the development of national parks in the United States. He served as a park naturalist in several national parks, including Mount Rainier National Park, where he played a pivotal role in educating the public about natural history. Brockman was also an influential professor at the University of Washington, where he taught forestry and conservation.
