In very good condition. Orange pictorial paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light overall scuffing and soiling. Binding tight. Previous owner's "do not remove" stamp on back of title page. Pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. [From Introduction, page 6] Looking to Learn, created by the Education Department of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, comprises three main components. Pre-visit activities outlined in this guide are teacher-led and set the stage for learning about art. Next, Docent slide talks introduce objects which will be seen in the Museum and initiate a dialogue, encouraging students to discover elements of design. Finally, a Docent-led tour of the Museum brings students face to face with works of art. This combination of discussion, slide viewing, hands-on activities, and the excitement of a Museum visit provides student with an opportunity to learn through seeing, doing and thinking.
