The Book Club of California, founded in San Francisco in 1912, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation of fine printing and the study of book history and arts, particularly related to California and the West. Since 1933, it has published a quarterly newsletter to inform members about the club's activities, events, and publications. The newsletter includes articles on book history, printing, typography, and reviews, serving as a vital communication tool for members and promoting the literary and cultural heritage of the region.
