Covers have several small chips and tears and creasing along edges. Moderate overall scuffing, soiling and spotting to covers as well. Binding tight (string bound). Pages darkened with age with heavier aging to first and last few pages. Damp staining around edges, but pages are otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Elbert Hubbard (1856-1915) was an American writer, publisher, artist, and philosopher, best known for founding the Roycroft artisan community in East Aurora, New York, in 1895. The Roycrofters, inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement, produced high-quality, handcrafted goods such as books, furniture, and metalwork.
