Bottom 4" of the paper over the spine is chipped away and the paper along the edges and cornera is also chipped with the underlying board exposed at the corner tips and in a few spots along the edges. Boards are separating along both the front and rear hinges, with the pages split along the seams but the covers are still attached. Pages are browned but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. An acceptable reading copy only. Charming illustrations by a few different illustrators, one of which was Alice Carsey.
