In Good condition. Grey paper covers with black lettering have light bumping and creasing to edges and corner and light overall scuffing. Binding tight. Pages are still unopened (uncut) along the top and fore edges and are bound somewhat unevenly. Pages lightly aged but are otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. The Historical Society of Southern California was founded in 1883 by a group of Los Angeles citizens to preserve and promote the history of Southern California. The Society's primary focus has been to collect historical documents, photographs, and artifacts while fostering historical research and education about the region. Its flagship publication, The Southern California Quarterly, originally known as Annual Publications and later as The Quarterly, has been in continuous publication since 1884, offering scholarly articles on a wide range of topics related to Southern California history.
