In good condition/ NO dust jacket. Red cloth covered boards with gold lettering on front and spine. light bumping and scuffing to edges of covers with a tiny bit of nicking to the cloth at the corner tips. Light overall scuffing and soiling to covers as well. Binding tight. Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Includes 171 black and white plates. A valuable source of information generally accessible only to those who could visit the Paris collections of prints. Dr. Henderson's 171 plates were obtained chiefly by photographing the originals, most of which belong to the Collection Hennin of the Bibliotheque Nationale. Each plate is accompanied by a narrative, in chronological form, to make clear the place each print or cartoon has in the revolutionary movement.
