In good condition. Yellow and white illustrated soft covers have a 1" scuffed patch at the bottom of the spine where a price sticker was removed taken a thin top layer of the cover with it. Light bumping and creasing to edges and corners of covers and light overall scuffing and soiling. Binding tight (staple bound). Pages clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. [From introduction] This colourful booklet attempts to show that the European Union and European integration processes are not just a matter of complicated wording and piles of documentation. Here you can see that these processes are the ones that can make us smile as well. However, in the cartoons the smile is not always full of joy - sometimes it is ironical and sometimes even sad. The booklet presents cartoons by twenty Lithuanian artists who have accepted the invitation from European integration department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and Cartoonists section at the Lithuanian Artists' Association to present their cartoons on the topic of Lithuania's integration into the EU. Some of these cartoons are brand new, some of them are older and reflect previous years of country's integration into the EU. These cartoons composed an exhibition, which was first opened in July 2001 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Vilnius. After the exhibition in the capital of Lithuania, the cartoons started their journey to EU member states and candidate countries, as well as various cities and towns of Lithuania.
