De Young Memorial Museum, California Palace of the Legion of Honor and San Francisco Museum of Art, November 10, 1964 to January 3, 1965. The exhibition was devoted to a survey of the use of the human form in art through the ages. The de Young Museum was assigned Glory which covers man from ancient times to about 1700. The California Palace of the Legion of Honor was assigned to Jest which covers man in the art of the 18th and 19th centuries. Finally, the San Francisco Museum of Art was assigned the Riddle of our own times. Paper covers, [120] pp. Catalog separated into 3 parts, one for each museum. Black and white reproductions throughout with a few in color. In acceptable+ condition. Black, white, gold and pink geometric patterned covers have bumping and creasing to edges and corners and light to moderate overall scuffing with the color scuffed off along edges. Binding tight. Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks.
