Description

The Optimum Press, 1972. Soft cover, 53 pp. In acceptable+ condition. Glossy white and yellow illustrated paper covers with black lettering on front. Covers have a few small nicks and light bumping and creasing to edges and corners. Light overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Text block is just starting to pull from covers but binding is still intact. Pages lightly aged but otherwise clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. This is a small "gift selection" from the play for verse, blues and Mime. Appeared originally as a short play for verse, blues, and mime - with actors John William Britt and Colette Thompson. Illustrations by David Kawecki. James Campoccio was a featured poet at The Coffee Gallery in San Francisco. Campoccio acknowledges Carol Lee Sanchez who ran the open mic at The Coffee Gallery at time, as well as John Williams from The Intersection, San Francisco. "The Boy Who Touched the Sun" was performed live and on cable television in San Francisco with actors John Williams Britt and Colette Thompson.
