In very good condition. Tan paper covers with French flaps have maroon and black lettering on front and spine. Light bumping to edges of covers and light overall scuffing. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked . NOT Ex-library. NO remainder marks. Includes 15 poems, each with a lovely watercolor illustration by Keld Hansen. Eske K. Mathiesen (b. 1944) is a Danish poet who has published over 30 collections of poems, which often deal with animals and nature, with special sympathy for nature’s overlooked creatures. This collection includes poems about nature, the light, birds in the marshes of southern Jutland, each depicted in small precise scratches.
