Published by the Society of Chemical Industry in Basle (Switzerland) (Ciba) Represented by CIBA Company Inc. , New York. Originally a textile chemical company periodical, the Ciba Review was published from 1937 to 1971 and, throughout, CIBA’s focus remained within the textile industry. Black and white illustrations throughout. Includes 4 articles by Alfred Buhler (1900-1981), the Swiss ethnologist and explorer, who for many years was director of the Museum of Ethnology and the Swiss Museum of European Folklife, in Basel and Professor emeritus of ethnology at the University of Basel. Condition & notes

In acceptable condition. Black and white pictorial paper covers have a few 1' or less nicks and tears and light creasing to edges. Moderate overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Staple bound. Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks.
