In good condition/ NO dust jacket. Green illustrated cloth covered boards have bumping and scuffing to edges and light to moderate overall aging and soiling. Binding tight. Previous owner's address label opposite title page (but NOT on beautifully illustrated endpapers). Pages are otherwise lightly aged but unmarked with occasional light spotting. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Charming black and white illustrations by Bronson. Wilfrid Swancourt Bronson (1894 - 1985) was an American natural history artist and a "prolific writer and illustrator of children's books on various aspects of animal life". Born in Chicago, Illinois, Bronson attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
