Condition & notes

In good condition with a few small nicks and tears and light creasing to edges of covers. Previous owner's name in ink and pencil on top of front cover. Moderate overall scuffing, aging and soiling to covers as well. Binding tight (staple bound). Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. Carrie Minetta Jacobs-Bond was an American singer, pianist, and songwriter who composed some 175 pieces of popular music from the 1890s through the early 1940s. She is perhaps best remembered for writing the parlor song "I Love You Truly", becoming the first woman to sell one million copies of a song.
