Condition & notes
In good condition. Illustrated paper covers have a few small nicks and tears along edges and top and bottom of spine and light bumping and creasing to edges and corners. Light overall scuffing and soiling to covers as well, with a bit of the color scuffed off along edges. Binding tight. Pages lightly aged but otherwise unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. [From foreword] This year the Council presents an exhibition that deals with the last two decades of the 19th century, and continues until the first World War. During this period, now grown remote to living experience, occurred the great revolutionary explorations that made possible the art of our time. The Council has done a great service to the student and the museum-goer in stressing this background to modern art.
