Description

Venezia : Campo del ghetto nuovo. [Published Date: 1979]. Soft cover, 84 pp. Tri-lingual text: Italian, English and French. Published in connection with the installation of seven bas-reliefs created by Blatas depicting scenes from the Holocaust. They were installed on a wall in the Jewish ghetto of Venice. Contents include a biography of Blatas, an essay on The Ghetto by Federico Fontanella; Black and white and color plates depicting details of the seven panels; an essay entitled Arbit Blatas' Holocaust Monument by Gerald Green; Essay entitled Arbit Blatas: The Artist by Jean Bouret; essay entitled Blatas, Venice and the Holocaust by Andre Tronc; Original drawings for the film "The Holocaust"; Essay entitled Arbit Blatas: The Man by Ruth Gruber.

Condition & notes

In very good condition. Glossy black pictorial paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and light overall scuffing. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks.
