In good condition. Illustrated Paper over Boards have some chipping and nicking to the paper over the comer tips and top and bottom of spine with 1/4" tears at the tope and bottom of the spine. Boards slightly warped. Light to moderate overall scuffing and soiling to covers as well with some peeling to the thin clear plastic coating along the spine. Binding tight. Previous owner's name in ink on title page. Otherwise pages are lightly aged but unmarked with occasional light spotting. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Includes a brief description and illustrations of 29 trees common to the United States. Each page depicts a grown tree, its fruit and leaf structure. It tells where they best grow, and more about its individual features. Valerie Swenson (1907 - ?) was a watercolor painter and Student at University of Kansas, Lawrence, in 1932. She illustrated numerous children's books in the 1950's.
