In very good condition. Black cloth covered boards with with glossy pictorial plate pasted on front and gold lettering on spine. light bumping to edges of covers and light overall scuffing. [From Vorwort] Die Ausstellung kaukasischer Teppiche ~ die zweite ihrer Art in Deutschland — dürfte in Frankfurt die erste Ausstellung orientalischer Teppiche überhaupt sein. Nachdem 1961 das Hamburger Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe zum ersten Male in größerem Umfange kaukasische Teppiche gezeigt hatte, entstand der Plan, eine solche geschlossene Gattung innerhalb der zahlreichen Gruppen des orientalischen Knüpfteppichs auch in Frankfurt vorzustellen.
