In very good condition. Glossy illustrated Paper over Boards have light bumping to edges and light overall scuffing. Binding tight. Pages clean and unmarked. NOT Ex-Library. NO remainder marks. Terrified that he will never find for the king the bird singing the most beautiful song, a birdcatcher gives up and sits down to play his flute. Illustrations by Jindra Capek. Capek is a Czech illustrator. ÄŒapek moved to Switzerland in 1969, where he studied at the art school in Zurich from 1970 to 1971 and then in Karlsruhe in Germany from 1971 to 1975. He began as a freelance illustrator in 1977, and has since illustrated many books of books, including many picture books with stories built on fairy tales and fables.
