Description

Samuel French [Published Date: 1933]. Booklet, 33 pp. No other printings listed. In acceptable+ condition. Green paper covers have light bumping and creasing to edges and light overall scuffing, aging and soiling. "Price" stamped in purple ink at bottom of front cover. Middle pages (center folded leaf) has pulled away from staple binding and is laid in. Light underlining in pencil on a few pages. Pages are otherwise lightly browned with age. NOT Ex-Library. A good reading copy. Play was awarded prize in Class II Junior League playwriting Contest, 1932. Cast of 7, male or female. What happens to a small paper boy and his little lame playmate when St. George's Dragon, shrunken with the years, with monocle and an Oxford accent, still laughing at how he outwitted the English Knight and highly amused at modern civilization, saunters into their drab street and lends them a helping claw.
